Tort - New Album Coming In 2015
As the year ends, 2015 is already looking promising for sludge metal fans. The Barcelona band Tort will release their new album at the beginning of next year. II will be available digitally through Discos Macarras' Bandcamp on January 1st and in CD format from January 26th. For now, you can check out the album cover art below. Kivimetsän Druidi - Announce New EP And Booking Deal
The Finnish symphonic/fantasy metal band Kivimetsän Druidi have signed a deal on domestic bookings with the Finnish booking agency Northern Solitude Entertainment. The female-fronted sextet shall play a few selected shows during spring of 2015. Kivimetsän Druidi are known for their full-length albums Shadowheart (Century Media, 2008) and Betrayal, Justice, Revenge (Century Media, 2010). After 4 years of anticipation, the band is finally breaking the silence with a new EP release.

Marduk - Announce European Dates With Belphegor

The 3rd Attempt - Tchort And BloodPervertor's New Band Finds Vocalist, Debut Demo
You will do well to remember that a few months ago, both guitarists Tchort and Blood Pervertor have launched a new project called The 3rd Attempt, after they left black metallers Carpathian Forest. They were also searching for a vocalist for the band and now they have found one! As expected, the flood of applications was sizeable. Former Midnattsvrede and Necrocave vocalist Kaahrl Ødemark was the chosen one. Hear the demo track for "The Beast Within" below which also features Carpathian Forest's Daniel Vrangsinn on bass and Anders Kobro on drums. Do you find it promising?

Pantera - Previously Unheard Dimebag Darrell Song Streaming Online
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the tragic death of legendary Pantera guitarist and riff master Dimebag Darrell. On December 8th, 2004, while performing with Damageplan at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio, Dimebag Darrell Abbott was shot and killed onstage. Guitar World celebrates the life and legacy of Dimebag with their February 2015 issue. As part of the tribute, they unearthed a never-before-heard track featuring Dimebag on vocals and all instruments. The song "Whiskey Road" was recorded in 2001, during the last outing of Pantera's Reinventing The Steel Tour in the United States. You can hear the song below and enjoy it as much as you want.

Armageddon - Vocalist Leaves, Seeking Replacement
Armageddon have some unfortunate news. Due to personal reasons, their singer Matt Hallquist has been forced to step down from the role as lead vocalist. The Swedish metallers thank Matt for his time and commitment to the band. This means they are once again searching for a singer. Armageddon are looking for a growler/screamer with great stage presence to tour with them starting next year.

Accept - Guitarist And Drummer Leave The Band
Guitarist Herman Frank and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann decided to leave heavy metallers Accept to pursue the new act they have established with Schmier of Destruction named Panzer (GER).
