Zatokrev - New Album Next Year

Swiss doom bringers Zatokrev are releasing a new album next year to follow The Bat, The Wheel And A Long Road To Nowhere. The group just uploaded one of their songs from the last opus and you can listen to "Angels Of Cross" here. The band uploaded the song because it "was kind of a very natural, special and magical part of our songwriting which brought us new directions and many ideas of how to create our next album(s)." The band announced that the upcoming album is going to be the continuation of this track and will be released in 2014. The album title will be announced soon.

Illdisposed - Enter The Studio In February

Get ready for another slab of death metal coming from Illdisposed because the Danish group has announced that they are entering the studio this February to record the follow-up to Sense The Darkness released last year. Illdisposed extended their deal with Massacre Records and the as-yet-untitled album should come out in mid 2014.

Suicide Silence - Share Mitch Lucker Documentary

Next February, Suicide Silence will release the CD/DVD/Blu-ray Ending Is The Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show, which features a tribute show to the fallen vocalist where the band performed with several guest vocalists and also a documentary about Mitch Lucker, who passed away last year at the age of 28. The 30-minute documentary directed by Jeremy Schott can be seen below.

In This Moment - Releasing Special Edition Of 'Blood'

American metallers In This Moment released their last album Blood in 2012 through Century Media Records. Coming January 21st (US) and February 17th (Europe), you will be able to get your hands on the Blood Special Edition which is on sale now at CM Distro (North America). Seventh Wonder - Band Update

Sólstafir - Streaming Previously Unreleased Track

Currently recording their new album, Sólstafir decided to share a treat with their fans: a very rare track called "Devilmask". This is a previously unreleased bonus song from the Masterpiece Of Bitterness gatefold vinyl. The song was recorded in the M.O.B. recording session in 2004, but was not included on the original 2005 release. Since the band is coming up with a new album, it helps with the waiting period. Metallica - Share Full Antarctica Concert In HD

Remember when Metallica announced that they would be playing a show in Antarctica? Now the band has shared footage of the entire concert where they played for a small group of fans and you can watch the whole thing in HD below. On December 8th, 2013, the band set a world record by becoming the first and only band in history to perform concerts on all seven continents in under a year. Unfortunately, they didn't play "Trapped Under Ice". A missed opportunity.

Wolves In The Throne Room - New Recordings Penned For 2014 Release

Except for the recent release of their BBC Session 2011 Anno Domini live 12", Wolves In The Throne Room have been keeping a low profile since the conclusion of the world-spanning tour that supported their most recent album Celestial Lineage. Now, word comes that the band, along with producer Randall Dunn, has been quietly cultivating the next chapter in their ongoing musical evolution. While little else is known of the impending recordings at the moment, the brothers Weaver have confirmed that the music is currently in the final stages, being prepared for release in the first quarter of 2014.

Neurotech - Announce New Release

Wulf, the man behind the Neurotech project from Slovenia, has announced a new release precisely for Christmas day. According to him, it is one of the longest and most complex instrumental compositions he has created with over 17-minutes in length called The Elysian Symphony. Talk about a nice Christmas present.
