Swiss doom bringers Zatokrev are releasing a new album next year to follow The Bat, The Wheel And A Long Road To Nowhere. The group just uploaded one of their songs from the last opus and you can listen to "Angels Of Cross" here. The band uploaded the song because it "was kind of a very natural, special and magical part of our songwriting which brought us new directions and many ideas of how to create our next album(s)." The band announced that the upcoming album is going to be the continuation of this track and will be released in 2014. The album title will be announced soon.

Now, word comes that the band, along with producer Randall Dunn, has been quietly cultivating the next chapter in their ongoing musical evolution. While little else is known of the impending recordings at the moment, the brothers Weaver have confirmed that the music is currently in the final stages, being prepared for release in the first quarter of 2014.
