Chthonic - Ensiferum Members To Guest On New Single
Ensiferum members Jukka-Pekka Miettinen and Sami Hinkka are featured on the special version of Takao, the new single from Taiwanese black metal band Chthonic.
This special version is included as a bonus track on the digital release of Takao, available on iTunes. A short teaser is available in the clip below.
Commented the band: "The melody of Takao's chorus is based on the tones of Taiwanese lyrics, but it's so unbelievable that when we try to single it in English, it sounds very Finnish, Irish, or generally European! Maybe the folk music in different nations have some kind of connection!"
"Takao" comes off of the band's upcoming new album, entitled Takasago Army, which will be released on July 6th through SPV Records.

I wonder how they got together. Looking forward to the album, maybe I'll listen to the single as well knowing this now

The press release is right, that snippet does sound hella European, and GADDAMN that's some INTENSE cover art!
