Guitar virtuoso Jeff Loomis has released the brand-new song "A Liar's Chain", which was recorded with his touring line-up consisting of the young talents Joe Nurre (guitar and vocals), Anup Sastry (drums) and Greg Macklin (bass). You can listen to the song here or on the Soundcloud player below.

Jeff commented on the song: "'A Liar's Chain is the first of three songs that I recorded with my band to officially debut online. We started playing it live on our last US run and it seemed to go over really well with fans. I had so much fun recording Surrender with Ihsahn on vocals for my last solo album that I wanted to do more songs like that. Joe Nurre, who has been playing guitar in my band for the last year or so, has a pretty killer death metal voice, so I thought it would be perfect to do some more stuff like this with him as well as the rest of the guys.

I'm really looking forward to getting over to Europe again. I have so much fun there. The Euroblast tour and festival has some amazing musicians on it, which is going to be really special for me as well, as I love watching and hearing great bands play. We're going to be playing A Liar's Chain as well as one other new song with Joe singing. I look forward to seeing everyone there."

Loomis' latest output was Plains Of Oblivion, released in April through Century Media Records.
