Any Belgians here from Bruges? Just spent a long weekend there after being inspired to go after watching the film "In Bruges", fantastic city!

I find Bruges to be way too touristy.

Btw, dismaleuphony stayed there a couple of days last October.

Yeah but any nice looking place tends to get tourists. It wasn't as bad as some places i've been to, and at least it's not a target for stag weekends yet. Besides I don't mind a few tourists, after visiting China earlier in the year I was ready for a bit of tourism and decent food!

The best cuisine in the world is the Chines one imo. Vastly superior to the overrated Italian and French cuisines. Loads of variety.

Hey we all know in germany each region has dialects, sometimes its hard get waht Bayern people saying and austrians to , do you have it in Nederland to , I have heard many times duitch langauge and havnt hear accent or dialaect, have you it there or Ned is to small for it? or histocaly its gone?

I don't know where to post this, but I'll try it here: I need 3 or 4 tickets for the Eindhoven Metal Meeting on 19 th december.

We have various dialects and accents like any other country and there is an extra language in the province Frisia, called Frisian.

They used to have a Metal Basement as well, but they had to close it unfortunatly. ...

I've just read this with a mild shock .. Their metal department used to be one of my must-see items. I was there last time about one year ago.

Well, there's Fame in Amsterdam. In the PC Hoofdstraat. It may not look like much from the outside but they have a decent collection of metal in the basement. Well, last time I was there anyway (two years ago?).

Was there yesterday and the basement is still good. Btw it's at the beginning of the Kalverstraat (near the Dam) NOT PC Hooftstraat.

It is about various Metal subgenres and the relation with emotions (especially depression). I need to conduct a number of interviews, and for that I need you.
