Well, Christopher has never changed his sound much since Theli although he had several line up changes, and now when he finally had a steady line up he changed the sound pretty much for Gothic Kaballah (actually he didn't even wrote half of the songs I think). So I don't think we will be disapointed. Just a pity I still haven't got to see them live :/

Well, it's a bad new, but in some way, can make a difference in the form of make their music, the gothic kabbalah have much influence of these 3 guys, and well, you know, not the best thing....

Anyways, this was by much the best lineup Therion has adquiered...

No, not Therion, anyone BUT THERION... Let us hope the Niemann brothers just need some time and space to work on Demonoid's next album, and this...break up is not permament...I would absolutely hate to see my absolute favourite guitar trio, and three pure musical geniusses part their ways...And by hate, I mean I'll probably go emo or worse...
The statement does sound a bit similar to "for now we'll be playing with our own bands, but we'll be back together in a year or so to work on a new Therion album", but however, all the thanking in the end really makes me worried... Not about the band itself, after all, remember Chris signed a contract for five more albums some months ago, but about the twins' future in it, their virtuosity just complimented Therion's music in the most perfect of ways... And knowing we will probably not be hearing an update on the subject for quite some time, I'll be worried for a long, long time...

It's always been Christofer Johnsson's band anyway, so I don't think it's going to change anything about the band's sound and all.

Thay died once when stop play death metal, but thay rise again not so good music how it was but IMO band never dies forever

Ironically, I just received my Lemuria/Sirius B limited deluxe double digipack edition...

So many bad news this month.....
At least Christopher is the brain of the band, he will manage to get some talented musicians, again.

Yeah, it's sad but I agree with selken.
And as long as Vikström still is a tour musician I'm happy!

Oh, come on guys, don't say that, maybe after the release of the Demonoid album and a following tour, and when the time for the next Therion album comes, they will rejoin... Think positive...

I agree, first thingI tough was like damn!! but sometimes changes give a new breathe, you never know what you gonna get!

hmmmm this news may be bad cause of the fact that therion were able to tour with a steady line-up...but on the other side the new members wanted to write music and to offer to the band but it is cleared to me that the music and the image of therion has been created by cristofer.Gothic kaballah was a preety good album but the best songs of it were half composed by cristofer.The other members wrote songs that were sound quite strange for therion music.As cristofer said at the metall hammer of greece "it was a group album anyone put something on it".To tell you the truth i believe that this could be the chance to remake cristofer the band and create again tha old sound of therion with some new objects and release an album as theli again.And remember that cristofer has written all the songs for the new album long time ago as he has said.Long live therion guys!!!

Worst news of the year, at least for me but on the other side I'm curious about the changes this means.
