You know the drill, recommend me good metal stuff from 2017. Remember this is not a playlist or promotion place, it should be stuff you have HEARD ATLEAST ONCE which means it is not just stuff YOU think is good but something that OTHERS should find good and enjoy as well.
Death metal from Portugal. Sounds more closely to Disma than anything else to my ears. Quite melodic and groovy. It's hard to judge anything from a single but yeah this seems like something that is worth keeping an eye on.
It seems JOOE has found the best stuff already Maybe I should listen to all the stuff in this thread instead of searching for stuff myself. However, nice sounding this is - sounds a bit like Horse Latitudes.

cheers. I need to get back on the wagon. I haven't listened to anything new for over 2 weeks now.
Yet another female fronted stuff with elements of drone/ art pop/ noise etc. Not too far from Chelsea Wolfe tbh. From UK Esben and the Witch-Older Terrors
I guess no one has posted this already:
another hard-to-describe album from avanrgarde music. Can as well be called dark metal
Also it is a side project of Wolvserpent guy.

Yes, new stuff from the Wolvserpent member. The earlier Aelter was lots of goth but not so much metal. Looking forward to listen to this tomorrow. Great find
Edit: wasnt this the album I listened to last year
Nice one, more portugese stuff. Sounds like a blend of twilight circle and raw portugese. And i really like the heavy metal riff at the end of the track. This will be awesome.
Was a bit skeptical at my first listens but this is magic. Not sure what the producers role is but he seems to know how to do good gaze. Great lyrics is just icing on the cake.
Huszar uploaded their new album to bandcamp yesterday. Somewhat similar to Deafheaven (thought it feels more black metal than them) with a synth/dreampop twist. Sounds like Amesoeurs at times.
EDIT concerning the split... that's weird... I received the promo in September of 2016 and the accompanying info said the LP would be released on November 26th, 2016 by Sundown Records. Metal Archives and Hypnotic Dirge Bandcamp says a digital version of it will be released on March 24th, 2017 by Hypnotic Dirge Records

Not sure you guys care but I cant hold my tits. Experimental raw black metal. It sounds like it should, maybe the production is a bit less fucked up. Auto- AOTY contender for me.

Ok.
I added it as a 2017 release but feel free to change it.
