Upcoming death doom metal record from Italian act Tethra is in working process. All instruments for the follow-up to 2017's Like Crows For The Earth are recorded, with only vocals left. Greek singer Gogo Melone (Aeonian Sorrow and Clouds) also joins as a guest vocalist on the album. More updates to follow.

Ironsword - New EP Online, Album Coming Next Year

The Portuguese cult underground epic metal force Ironsword has teamed up with Fernando Ribeiro's (Moonspell) powerhouse label Alma Mater Records and you can now listen to their new EP, In The Coils Of Set, down below. The official release date of the EP is November 1st, while the upcoming album, Servants Of Steel, is due out on January 24th, 2020. Both were produced by Harris Johns (Helloween, Voivod, Kreator, Sodom).

Motörhead - First Guitarist Larry Wallis Dies At The Age Of 70

Motörhead just lost another warrior, because the band's original guitarist Larry Wallis has died at the age of 70. He was part of the 1979 On Parole album crew. The album was recorded in late '75/early '76 and was launched on the back of the success of their first three records. The guitarist co-wrote the track "Vibrator", but left Motörhead in 1976. He also was part of rockers UFO. No cause of death has been revealed as of this writing.

It is with regret that Saxon have to announce the rescheduling of their remaining shows in 2019. Lead vocalist Biff Byford has been diagnosed with a heart condition that requires immediate surgery and a post op recovery period that will last into the new year.

Lord Mantis - Launch New Track From Upcoming Album

Lord Mantis' new studio record, Universal Death Church, has been set for a November 22nd official release via Profound Lore Records. The outing finds the group returning with a lineup that now consists of Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams) on guitars, Bryce Butler (ex-The Faceless) on drums and Dylan O'Toole (Indian) on vocals. The album was produced, recorded, and mixed by Sanford Parker, and mastered by Collin Jordan. To taste a first piece of a new music, listen to the first streaming track, "Damocles Falls".

Strigoi - Debut Video For First Single 'Phantoms'

As it has been revealed, newly formed band, by Paradise Lost's Gregor Mackintosh, Strigoi will release their upcoming record, Abandon All Faith, on November 22nd via Nuclear Blast. The resultant 12-song-debut was recorded and mixed at Greg's Black Planet Studio between January and March 2019 and today, the English duo unveils a haunting music video "Phantoms", shot, directed and produced by Ash Pears. Designed in the same black and white vein of the band's overall look, "Phantoms" will clearly evoke some ghosts.
