I kinda get it. The name had somewhat offensive undertones. They say it themselves, they wanted to provoke. Which is likely why they went for the ableist term "crippled". It's good when bands rethink these things.
Don't understand that, you've been a band for 15 years and now you want to change your name? With no change in music style or founding member departure? It doesn't make sense.
