A bit colorful for BI but happy to see another Bruce Pennington artwork for a death metal album.

Not too impressed with the artwork tbh but I'm sure this will be great. Startspawn is frickin' amazing. News of a European tour during the summer of 2020 as well.

I automatically thought of Hypocrisy when I saw the artwork. Looks stellar and I can't wait to hear the first track that they decide to release.

I can't help but feel slightly disappointed with the new "single". To me it sounds like an extended intro or a bit of progressive jamming. It takes over half the track length to get going and it ends just as it's starting to get good. Also, the production is a lot cleaner than on Starspawn which is disappointing too.
Hopefully it's just a taster and the album offers more of what I liked about them.

I wish it was longer though... 36 minutes is too short!

Still only have 2 of the tracks. Full, proper release next Friday unless you've bought the vinyl.
And yes, I echo the love for Dwell. The Wormed Metaportal EP deserves a shout too.

Solid release.
Well, I can't just take off from "Inner Paths".

It's just me or "Inner Paths (To Outer Space)" sounds like a death metal song from Crack The Skye?

Gone are the days when death metal songs used to be 3-5 minutes song. Now all I have left to see is a doom album with 25, 1.5 minute mark songs.
Anyways, really tight, really good.

Hearing mutiple different directions upon first listening. Sometimes a little too rambling, that reminds me of late DM adopters in Europe from the early 90's. Plenty of entertainment though, especially some genuinely convincing pre-Heretic era Morbid Angel riffing.

I'm not really into death metal (especially DM with technical flourishes) nearly as much I once was. However, this is fuckin' great! Love how they use their technicality so tastefully.
The artwork is something I'd buy a shirt of. Really nice. And yeah... aliens! Same colour scheme as the last Tomb Mold.
The best moment for me is the riff that pops up in the final minute of The Giza Power Plant. It's a totally nasty one, especially after that "funeral doom" section. Killer.
The only track that doesn't do it for me is Inner Paths. Just can't get into it.
Curiously, BI has dudes from the Woodsmoke label that did some tape releases 10 years ago or so. I was acquainted with that stuff from the Cosmic Hearse blog at that time and it surprised me a bit that dudes that churned out highly limited drone-y doom and black metal stuff on cassette were now doing death metal with instrumental prowess on bigger labels. Haha. Things change. Really cool.

Fucking hell, this is good. Definitely deserves all the praise it got and a big step up from Starspawn for me. Also, that cover art is gorgeous.

I prefer Starspawn too but only slightly as HHofHR grew on me loads.

This is much better than I expected it to be tbh. The instrumentation is top notch, from the bass and guitar work to the drumming, the deep heavy tone works wonders, and it's structured brilliantly, with just the right blend of technicality, brutality and melody, and even has some pretty cool atmospheric parts too. A great effort all-round I say.

Their first album was very good to me. I don't know why, but I felt a little uncomfortable with this album, but I still respect it because I can feel their musical quality.
