Both of their albums are so fucking good. Absolute extremes of hyper aggression in vain of bands like Internal Suffering, Hour Of Penance or Origin. There's no breathing room between or within songs, and I love it.

This second release even manages to sound heavier with it's more bassy mix and still keeps a personality with a brooding and almost depressive atmosphere. One of the best brutal bands to hit the scene in a long time, a new favorite, and definitely have a bright future ahead of them if they choose to continue. I hope they get more visibility and support.

The mixing is fantastic, especially with so much work coming from the low end -- which is why there's such an emphasized clarity with the bass. The tin snare effect, pummeling double bass kicks, and muffled cymbal crashes make for a dynamic listen from the drumming side of things, while the palm muting and stabbing riffs add even more weight from the guitars. Impressive musicianship overall.

I really appreciate the blanketing effect of their songwriting approach despite maintaining a relatively moderate tempo throughout, with occasional outbursts of hyper-speed used as a segue rather than the foundation. It's relentlessly stifling instead of overwhelming.

Not among my favorite releases of the year but the production alone is worth mentioning to anyone interested in the more technical side of music.
