Really good record; it's got blast-heavy suffocating black metal, but also has atmospheric, meloblack, gazey, and other inclinations, all of which fit well within what is quite a diverse album

Not a bad atmospheric black metal album, it has a really good, slow building, dark, grim and thick atmosphere, that grips your soul and gives you a sense of sadness and despair, of which is intended by albums released of this type. The wailing screams of terror also add to the atmosphere, and the songs 3, and 7 really stand out for me, the others maybe not quite as memorable.

The real only downfall for me is that it does get a wee dreary in places, particularly midway through the album, and it is most likely an album that I will only fully appreciate if I'm in the right frame of mind for it.

Impressive sound that feels a bit mesmerizing in some passages, reminds me a bit Oranssi Pazuzu.

This is most probably my black metal AOTY now! It blends so many things I love for a perfect results. I get some Downfall of Gaia vibes, but instead of alternating post black and soft passages, here we get atmo black and post black, for an even more intense result.

Out of nowhere this album took hold of me and taught me to redefine black metal and it's intricacies. For a week I couldn't stop listening to the album. The riffs stunned me in a really good way. Other than Halo Effect this would definitely rank as one of my AOTYs of 2022.
