Well, it's better than Ordinary Man at least.

The title track is probably one of Ozzy’s finest songs in a long time. It’s been getting regular spins from me. Degradation Rules is also a fine track. Holding up cautious hope that this actually may turn out to be a decent album.

Better as last one, (but to judge all I need re listen all what came out after Ozzmosis) ,
Some songs sucks, some are slow, some rocks, can do last respect and tribute to Ozzy, otherwise I dont know what to say. Cant beat classics, but few good songs. But funny is Ozzy is just a singer now. Ask Krisuin brothers compose brutal dm, he can front, ask Watain play, he can front. He owns the voice, nothing more, he dont run the show anymore.
Same time I understand why BS stop activities.

I agree with the above comment, the title track's actually surprisingly solid considering how bland the last album was, and the album in general is a definite step up from Ordinary Man

More of a 70s rock record but its not bad. A good album for Ozzy to bow out on.

Just a collection of good-ass songs, and that’s really all I’m asking for, especially from an Ozzy album. 100% agree that this would be a good album for him to cap his career off with.

Also is it me or is this probably Ozzy’s darkest/bleakest album?

a collection of good-ass songs

I'm sure you didn't mean this the way it reads.

What are good-ass songs? You mean you can shake your ass to them Beyonce style?

Is that not an expression where you’re from? You’ve never heard “Damn bra that’s some dank-ass kush” or “My man that’s a sweet-ass ride?”

I had little to no expectations for this. And I can't ever view Ozzy objectively. I just straight out love the dude. The goofy self-ironic fucker that sang on the six best albums produced to date. Still I try to be really critical here, an bottom line is that this is not very good, I'd give it a 5 or 6. But, and hear me out here... the song "No escape from now" lifts this to 7-8. Ozzy making music at almost 80y lifts it to a 8-9. So I'll rate it a 8, because I am biased an I need to deduct one point for that. Hats off to Ozzy for getting this album out.

I found this one rather boring, a chore to go through. Yes, it's better than the previous one, but then again this doesn't say much.

Patient Number Nein sure is better than Ordinary Man. I think the guests here are well chosen even if the songs themselves aren't necessarily top tier material. I would love to hear Ozzy playing with other similar jazz and blues guys and go more experimental, like imagine Ozzy playing with John Scofield, George Benson or John McLaughlin. Now that would be really something else.

I gave Ordinary Man a 7 just as a tribute to the man's farewell album even though it was worth only a 5. But now it seems Oz is not going to stop anywhere in near future, I think i should rate this wisely. There are couple of songs I liked, in fact.

Maybe the best 2000s album but sadly that doesn´t means a lot.
The last good album is from 1991. Everything that followed was bad to average stuff.

Quite good: Title Track, Nothing Feels Right, God Only Knows (best on record) and Dead And Gone
