Some striking melodic tremelo's and pretty decent blast beating as expected, a few nice acoustic passages too, but there's nothing out of the ordinary about it imo. The vocals on the other hand are not so good Imo and are kind of a turn off factor for me

I thought I recognized Noise, which was a nice surprise. His Non Est Deus release last year was great and this melodic project seems to be building on the streak.

I wasn't what was particularly dislikable about the vocals to start with, but then I got to the bit halfway through the second track with the gormless-sounding semi-spoken vocals and yeah, they're a bit distracting; I'm hoping there's not going to be more of them across the rest of the album, as I'm otherwise liking the rest of it

I think this is a big step down, compared to the debut. He's putting out way too much music and the quality is dropping.
