Omne, I hear you ask, if a car was travelling west from Ipswich at 25 mph at 15:23 and a train left Cardiff Station travelling east at 67 mph, what time would dinner be?
Pretty good death metal. Haven't listened to them before but the thing that stands out for me is the vocals. I like that they sound pretty raw in the mix and that the British accent comes trough. I just read that the singer was in Bolt Thrower, which makes me understand why I like the vocals, those guys were awesome!
What's not to like. I got very soft spot for Memoriam. I remember Kiddie and I loved Bolt Thrower and on top of that Memoriam delivers consistently. And on this particular album Karl seems to be in much better form then on some previous releases. Solid 9 from me
And on I am the Enemy I feel like Karl is coming quite close to clean singing... That would be the end of everything
Between a 7 and an 8 for me. It's definitely a good release, but Memoriam/Bolt Thrower can do better, in my opinion. Still, Willets and Fairfax make a combo that's always fun to listen to, and the inclusion of several slower moments was neat.
Not their best release but this is still a solid one, but then I expected nothing less from a band with such quality and consistency. Both Bolt Thrower and Memoriam combined have yet to release an album below average imo.
