Back then, I heard the song "Blutsbruder" on some sampler and I liked it enough to purchase this album. I still like the unusual usage of instruments (violin, mandolin) on this album but unfortunately, if you are a native German speaker, you will understand every single word of the German lyrics and they are disturbing and primitive as hell. Some years ago I didn't mind but nowadays, the lyrics of songs like "Blutsbruder", "Der Eid", "Christenfind" and "Feld Der Ehre" are so dull and awkward that it feels quite embarrassing.

In marige whit Menhir ...this is good MBM, whit folk parts (some calls it pagan(, good atmosphere, fats energetic riffs, small folk instruments and if I hear right female gust vocals. One of those underrated bands from that time.
