Seriously, 6 years since The Circle and there's only 3 new songs' worth of material? I hope this is a prelude to a new full-length on the horizon

I hope this is a prelude to a new full-length on the horizon

As I got it, this is the case.

However, the new track is not really inspiring.

The 3 original songs here are fine, but a bit forgettable for the most part, considering how consistently excellent The Circle was and how this is the first evidence we have of what they've worked on for however much of the last 6 years they've been active. If they do have a full-length in the pipeline, I hope these songs aren't representative of its strongest material
