Feels more symphonic in comparison to the proggy Epitaph. Some good songs, but mostly it's just 'ok'. No huge standouts on this one. Will listen more though.

Lyrics are so plain. The commercialized songs "Taking What's Mine, Even If You're Gone, and Stop the Bleeding" are the worse on this album. "Taking What's Mine" is such a bad song to intro the album, should've went with "Fortress" instead, blended better after the "Bloodlines" instrumental intro. More symphonic than their older progressive sound, but that's to be expected since Haroy became their singer. "Alliance" is a decent ballad. The last song "Wolves" is basically a classical outro to the album. I love classical music, but for it to be a 4min outro is a waste when you can add another song to this record. Just felt very uninspired & rushed of an album. The rest is pretty good though. 6/10

Very little fuss over this album here, considering their previous got a reasonable amount of attention. Odd.

I like it but I don't feel any excitment listening to this... it lacks a bit of power. Among their weaker albums.
