Kerrigan - Bloodmoon

There's nothing new here at all but it's a very solid NWOTHM release, actually one of the most enjoyable and well made traditional heavy metal releases I've heard this year. It has a great performance, great catchy riffs, a good sound quality, and decent songwriting, I couldn't ask for much more tbh. They're all pretty solid tracks but "Eternal Fire" is the stand out for me.

I really like this one, it has some defining characteristics. The voice of th singer. The dense upbeat pace. The somewhat large and faraway sound. Even if chord progressions are typical, the songwriting tries to add some twists and to last longer. There's a couple of super moments : the chorus of "Bloodmoon", with the high hat alternating time and counter-time, the outro of "Against The West Wind", and also 'Hold the banner! hiiiiiiiiigh !!' I'm bumping the rating to 8 for the regular joy it brings me

Very enjoyable, well-performed traditional heavy metal, solid vocals.
Pleasantly surprised by this.
