Boris - Absolutego

Why does this have such a low rating? Its great drone. If you don't like drone than you shouldn't listen to/rate it.

I haven't ever heard this, but I love everything I've heard from Boris so sooner or later I'll get this too.

I recommend to everybody to download it first and then think for about a week if you really want to buy it

I mean, I think I like it, I really don't know why I want to buy it, maybe just because I love the band!
But yeah, like I was going to say, it's very difficult to digest because the album is pretty much feeback most of the time. the last 20 minutes are just feedback, the very odd thing is that I don't have a problem with that!

Well, drone is really not my favourite genre, that's why most of the stuff I haven't listened by them is drone. BUT I love Feedbacker and Flood (personal favourite) so I don't know. Surely it's not an easy listen, amirite?

I haven't hear Feedbacker myself and most of the people I know say it's a lot of feedback too and the description of the reviews for Feedbacker sounds a hell of a lot similar to what Absolutego is... And yeah, Flood is just a breath taking album, I listened to it a couple of days ago and it totally sold me. I felt how I was drowing because of "the flood".

Absolutego is not bad, but yeah, a hard pill to swallow,. Sooooo... do you want to get it from "Mr. Doctor's pirate shop"?

Not as good as stuff they released later, but this is still pretty cool

It’s definitely not their best or even necessarily in the Top 5 for Boris, but it is still pretty good and also VERY important for drone history. This was probably the first drone album that included noise as much as this did, and also the vocal and percussive elements were very different for the time.
