Honestly don't get the fuss over this record. It has absolutely nothing on Dark Angel, Slayer and Kreator who they're trying to emulate. It's not just the production, it's just not that good.

I've tried to listen the album occasionally during over half a decade with little success in finding it very good. I like the extremeness and rawness, but I think the songs are kind of weak.

So, Spectrum of... Dogshit, maybe a better title?

I have called Manowar out for being dogshit on many of their albums. So I did with Morbid Shite - Spectrum of Dogshit; no band escapes the truth of steele

Drums are very punk and and riffs are simple but blazing fast, so with the very cavemen sound it contributes to some pummeling music. It can be very enjoyable, depending on what you're looking for. Much like old Kreator, except these guys could actually keep the timing. The production makes it a little difficult to take it in at first, given how rough it is; at the same time it offers a vibe that's only found on death metal records after its release.

Well they kept sliding in tempo a ton to hit the start of beats so I'd say yeah. Less noticeable on Terrible Certainty, but I think Extreme Aggression is their first really tight performance.

Not for me to tell why Morbid Saint ain't your thing I can only speak for myself, and it took a while for me as well cause the production did turn me away several times. It really sits between a well captured demo and a record.

This record is Pleasure To Kill part 2

Good fun thrash plodding fucking hard with death metal vox. Very Pleasure to Kill-ish as Blackcrowe said, but didn't find me in memorability and replays value as I might have better picks in my thrash collection. Also it throws me lot of Artillery's vibes as well.
