When I last attempted the exercise in futility of putting Dissona’s craft in words, I lamented over the wait in between album releases. In the last few years, many of my long-awaited follow-ups were delivered in relatively quick succession with some delivering on their promise more than others. This is one of the few bands that render me a slobbering fanboy mired in completely unreasonable expectations, irrespective of how much it's going to make this hurt if they don't deliver something at the filthy level they've set the bar at. Fortunately their last EP which came 7 years after the last full-length album allayed most of my fears and that was only 2 years ago. Also, lovely to see the band stick together despite what it must have taken to continue releasing music at a level of obscurity which borders on invisible, even for prog.

This is some real high-end prog, perhaps the most proggy prog can get with great songwriting and very interesting and diverse song-structures.
