Testament - Para Bellum
Despite its shortcomings, this was the most enjoyable listen of the year.

Dissona - Receptor
The best album of the year! Complex but approachable. Beautiful melodies and surprising choices.

Warbringer - Wrath And Ruin
The best thrash album of the year. The production is just perfect, organic , punchy but not overly compressed.

This album grew on me with every listen. Amazing production!

Such a unique album! It sounds fantastic and those folk elements are phenomenal.
