Every time I've tried to put something down about the latest Phideaux album Snowtorch I seem to have hit some kind of a block. It's not that I don't like the album. On the contrary, I like it very much. It's just that I seem to have trouble finding ways to describe the music of a band whose creations I've written about already on three occasions. You might think it's a sign - a sign that the band have failed to come up with something interesting enough. However, it's not so.

I'm not sure what to expect this time around, but I'm glad they finally updated on February 25 after almost two years of no news.

Wow, what an album! May be even better than Doomsday Afternoon! This is even more 'proggy', so to speak.

A very Jethro Tull-ish album, feels like a Phideaux tribute to "Thick As A Brick," I love it.

Now what's the deal with "Infernal?" Been waiting 4 years for that one and it gets delayed every time. "Infernal" is quickly becoming the "Time II" or next Tool album of symphonic rock...
