I don't think "best" and "Tankard" should be used seriously in the same sentence to be honest.

All their discography is pointless, Imo.

Pretty much. It's not often (as in never) I literally feel completely indifferent about an entire discography. I mean... I'll at least like one album, or even severely dislike something. But Tankard's discography is like... the most boring/bland/whatever word you wanna use collection of songs in the history of music. At least AC/DC had some good bluesy rock anthems. These guys just rode a handful of riffs for 30 years.

And despite all that, they still fucking rule and this album is clear proof.

And they're totes mcscrotes better than the likes of Exodus (especially the album they released on the same year, Tempo Of The Damned), Overkill, Slayer and even Megadeth. Tankard are the pinnacle of what good thrash metal is about.

/End sarcasm.

I am on JÄYs side here.

Tankard are and have always been on of the best Thrash bands around. Two Faced and Disco Destroyer were the only weaker records IMHO. And despite small changes in style they perform on a high level since B-Day (one of the the other Top 3 LPs from Tankard for me).

But this is their best work and yes I agree that this was one of the best LPs of this millenium!

Die with a Beer in your Hand is one of the best live songs ever! ... and I don´t even drink beer.

Exodus had just one real good release and that was Bounded by blood. The rest was Ok to boring.

IMHO in 2004 there were just three good Thrash releases: Megadeth - The System Has Failed, Nocturnal - Arrival of the Carnivore and this one here. Even though Annihilator and other famous bands tried.

Fixed that for you.

And lets be honest even the Dukes albums are better than Bonded.

It´s not so bad. I like War Is My Shepherd and Blacklist, but it´s not that good to beat the albums mentioned above.

I also prefere BBB to TOTD because of the vocals and the rough production.

Even though I don't think Exodus are completely bad, I definitely think they're overrated. They might just make it onto my Top 50 Thrash Bands list.
