For now I don't think this is as good stuff as the previous one. Rather enjoyable as Metal Church usually is. The album lacks some really stand out songs, IMO.

Not even "Living By The Numbers"?

I thought that one was a standout track. Reminded me a lot of their old (early 90's) stuff.

To me few of these songs are almost great - or maybe I've become too picky. By The Numbers is definitely there, but I'm not a huge fan of the chorus.

After being pretty underwhelmed by my first listen to the Living By Numbers single, I have found I am enjoying this album a lot more than I expected. To me it sounds like a good mix of '80s and '90s era Metal Church.

The news of Metal Church releasing a new album made me think "if only Kurdt would do another Presto Ballet album (his prog project)" and what do you know, a new PB album is coming out. Wishes do come true.

Looking forward to listening to both. Thanks Kurdt!
