the very idea that the left and right build an exaustive specrum is wrong. How to summarize 2 or more variables (opinion on guns, rights, etc) on a single line like that? Are we really saying a plane and a line have a bijection?

I very much dislike the western binary idea of politics. Why can't someone love guns and women's rights?

I always try to keep an open mind and at least try and understand why people think/act the way the do, especially when it challenges my perception. Even this shoutbox conversation has made me think more about my views and outlooks
