I was born in Örebro and raised in Karlstad. I have always been interested in music, my parents are musicians so I guess it contributed much to why I do what I do.
As a young boy we had all kinds of instrument at home, I could sit and make songs in the studio, play the Keyboard, mixing but the one thing that caught my attention the most was the drums.
My first kit was a lousy Pearl fiber shell kit haha! I still have it today at my parents house
A big influence was when I found a record at home that was called Steve Vai - Sex & Religion with Terry Bozzio on the drums. I took a lot of expression and technique from there, it has inspired a lot to the basis of my playing.
Other drummers and bands that has inspired me is Virgil Donati, Thomas Haake, Buddy Rich, Jojo Mayer, Mike Portnoy, Jason Rullo, Incognito, Tower Of Power, and of course my drumteachers, Leif Martinsson, Joléne Fredricson and André Ferrari.
