Rae is a versatile, dedicated, and passionate drummer, who has been furthering her musical studies at Berklee College of Music since 2009. Since picking up her first pair of sticks, Rae has been given the opportunity to study with some of the world's most respected drummers, including:

Mike Mangini (Dream Theater, Extreme, Steve Vai)
Dave DiCenso (Hiromi, Duran Duran, John Petrucci)
Rod Morgenstein (Winger, Dixie Dregs, Jordan Rudess)
Terri Lyne Carrington (Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Dizzy Gillespie)
Kim Plainfield (Pointer Sisters, Edgar Winter, Mose Allison)

Rae excels in the styles of metal, rock, pop, and funk/fusion. She has excellent feel, rhythmic interpretation, and technical ability. She has performed a vast repertoire of music with multiple bands/ensembles, and will cover songs upon request.

In late 2011, Rae was asked to play drums for the acclaimed Canadian blackened doom metal band, Woods Of Ypres (Earache Records). In the wake of David Gold's passing, the band has ceased touring/recording, but Rae and Woods Of Ypres guitarist Joel Violette took part in the first annual Ypres Metal Fest, held in Sault Ste. Marie on April 7th. Rae's tribute piece for David, written for MetalReview.com, can be read here.

Rae recorded drums for Joel Violette's blackened melodic folk metal project, Thrawsunblat, from July 9-12th, 2012 at The Record Company in Boston, MA.
On July 23rd, 2012, it was announced that Rae had become the new drummer for doom/noise duo Mares Of Thrace (Sonic Unyon).
