Matthew Garnham is a multiinstumentalist musician hailing from Grays, Essex in the South East of England.

Early on in the formation of his primary band The Furious Horde he adopted the stage name Ruptured Souls. Ruptured Souls has been the guitarist and vocalist for symphonic black metal band The Furious Horde from its conception to today. In this band he is usually seen in skeletal makeup, wearing a leather skirt and chains.

For all other projects the stage name is dropped and he is often credited as Matt G or Matthew G. He is currently the vocalist for Essex based extreme metal band Corpse Fauna and has previously played bass for Dark Revenance.

In 2012 he moved to Oslo, Norway, where he continues The Furious Horde and Corpse Fauna in the UK.
