Biography
Warfist was founded in 2004 by Witchfucker (voc) and Mihu (guit, voc). After a short time two other members joined them. They were Wrath on bass and Pavulon on drums. From the very beginning their aim was to play dirty and aggressive blackened thrash metal based on the schemes worked out by bands as Bathory, Slayer, Venom and Sodom.
In 2005 they have released their first demo/reh "Pure Fucking Hell", and the year after a new release was out, entitled "Tunes Of Hell and Alcohol". Also in 2006 the band became a 3-piece since Witchfucker left Warfist. "Tunes..." demo had a very good feedback in the underground and after that a lot of gigs in Poland and abroad (including a show on Metal Heads' Mission 2008 on Ukraine) followed. Also there were new releases.
In 2014 Warfist finally released their full-lenght debut album entitled "The Devil Lives In Grünberg", by Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Psycho. The stuff consists of 11 kicks between the eyes, which sould satisfy the fans of old school blackened thrash with a bit of rock'n'roll feeling, in vein of old Bathory, Venom and Sodom. The band is now finishing works on their sophomore album, initialy entitled "Metal to the Bone".
