Silvis Vetus was formerly a Symphonic tribute band to the three major references in the line: "Tarja's" Nightwish, Epica and After Forever, but soon started creating their own style, mixing covers and composed songs during live concerts, and showing a style that was barely known around their place.

Nowadays they've developped a particular style that stands out from being compared to another Symphonic band. As each member has claimed to have his own influences, they use that to make their own sound and create a strange but effective mix.

With rythms going from speed to breakdowns, and riffs striking from power to doom metal sound, they bring a new atmosphere to every show they made. WIth lyrics talking about a dark fantasy, mythologic legends and stories from epic novels, they show a new imaginarium of tales combining story-telling with despair, and age evolving feelings that surround the human mind while growing up.
