Kallomäki, founded in 2018 is a lineup from Riihimäki, Finland, made of Jouhikko-driven pagan metal and dark folk rock.
Their debut album, 'Roka Ukri' was based on the myth of Roka Ukri, ancient cult leader. Written by the band's founder, Tero Kalliomäki (Embassy Of Silence, Uinuos, Saattue).
Kallomäki songs are given unique sound by Tero's self-built electric bowed lyre and the band´s live gigs are spectacular, ritualistic performances.
Kallomäki has done gigs so far in Finland, Ireland and Estonia.
Composition for the live performances has varied from an acoustic solo to the whole band, according to event in question.
The debut album 'Roka Ukri' was released on September 21, 2018, and double album 'Uuden Kuun Aika I&II' on February 28, 2020.
