Biography

Vocalist Allan G. Pedersen, guitarist René Mikkelsen, bassist Rasmus Bruun, keyboardplayer Claus Greve and drummer Jeppe Christensen were all brought up on classic rock - and are keen to pass on this great tradition. Krackerjack's third album "Rock On!" saw the light of day in December 2007 - coinciding with their tenth anniversary - and has already received rave reviews from across the globe.

The tale of the Jack starts in 1997 when Mikkelsen and Christensen decides to break up their former band and launch into a new outfit to celebrate their love of hard rock and blues. Krackerjack spends their early years playing gigs mainly around their hometown of Vejle, Denmark - occasionally spreading their wings in other parts of the country as well - and perfecting their brand of melodic hard rock. Surviving line-up changes and even a two-year hiatus, it seems nothing can keep a good band down and in August 2005 Krackerjack release their debut album "Good Thing Goin'". Songs like "Face Another Day", "The Sinner" and the catchy "Why Did You Love Me?" strike a solid chord with audiences and the fan base starts to grow immensely. Eight songs from the vault are released in 2006 as "Call Of The Wild - The Early Years", but everything adds up when "Rock On!" is completed in late 2007. This album shows Krackerjack as they truly are. Ten songs that signal everything the band stands for - from the slow, bluesy tunes like "Blame It On The Little Big Man" (an ode to George W.) and "Waiting For Tomorrow", through rock anthems like "Back Together", "Lullaby" and "Love 'Em To Death", to classic power ballads like "This Heart" and "Too Late", this album will be every rock fan's perfect introduction to Krackerjack.
