Biography
The now-extreme, groove- and melody-heavy band ACKROS originated in Belgium, western Europe close to twenty years ago. In 1993, under the name Scatophagus they appeared on a local compilation, Detonation with a track entitled "Witchcraft". A number of demos were subsequently produced, and debut album The Multiverse was self-released in 2008, with Leng Tch'e front-man Serge Kasongo on vocals. Another demo followed in 2010, continuing the trend of expanding and progressing the band's sound over the years.
Also in 2010, screamer Serge left and was replaced by a guy they call Livio (Paulon?). Denis Rassart played guitars for the band in the early Scatophagus days, while fellow ex-Massacra Noise members Laurent Masse (drums) and Vincent Tamiset (guitars) are still with Ackros today.
