TYRON was founded in 2008 (as ?Lilith Laying Down") from singer and guitarist Pavlos Batziakas and bass player Lars Kaufmann.
Half a year later the first promotional CD ?What lies beneath" had been recorded.
This EP included four songs that due to its diversity attracted attention of many metal webzines. The following reviews attested LLD their musical skills with an average rating of 8 points out of 10!
With a new line up LLD moved on and recorded the full length album ?Nether Regions" in 2011. This album splitted the audience. On the one hand it was praised for its diversity on the other hand it was criticized for that. But whatever opinion the reviewer had - the professionality of each song as well as the astonishing charismatic voice of Pavlos has always been emphasized!

One of their first activities in 2014 is the change of name from LLD into Tyron (derived from ?Typhoon" and ?Iron").
Once more with a new line up, with new songs (recorded in the legendary ?Gernhart Studio" where already bands like Sodom have recorded their albums) and with new power the band takes off! And it is a fulminant start. The new style is a mixture of old school thrash with progressive structures. While some see influences of Iced Earth or Metallica others make comparisons to Pantera to describe Tyron.
In 2014 / 2015 Tyron have already shared stage with established bands like Testament, Helloween, Arch Enemy, Hammerfall, Overkill, Moonspell, Lacrimas Profundere, Axxis, Accuser, Lord Volture, Wizard.
Their complete album is planned for the first quarter of 2016.
