Black Horizonz was founded in August 1999 by Nocturnus (vocals), Hacky (guitar) and Falko (drums). Reiner (bass) completed the band after a while. Together they recorded their first demo "Lost In Shadows Grim" in 2001. In 2002 Nocturnus left the band and was replaced by Austi. With this new line up they recorded their second demo "Within My Suns Last Shafts" in 2004. A few month later The Butcher replaced Falko behind the drumkit. The third demo "Eccentric Wrath" was released in 2005. With Henning as their second guitarist and Nocturnus on guestvocals, the band recorded their debut album in 2006, which was released through UNHOLYFIRE RECORDS in April 2007. After a lot of playing life Black Horizonz started to work on their second full-length album entitled "krura". The album was finished in October 2008, but due to label issues it will not be released bevor April 2010. They already started to work on material for their third record, which will hopefully follow up closely.
