Biography
Founded during mid / late 2010 by solo artist Ayperos who wanted to express his personal feelings via music, Gibraltar's Days of Our Lives made itself known to the world with the release of it's first demo All Alone. Which was released on Halloween night of 2010.
Drawing inspiration from the slower more depressive side of Black Metal, Ayperos wanted to not only vent out his own personal feelings but also to show people that without Sadness there can be no happiness.
For months on end Ayperos had been silent until mid july of 2011 when he released an ambient single titled "The Future Looks Bleak". The single was released as a reminder that Days of Our Lives was still going on and that Ayperos had no intention of disbanding the project. Following onto the months of September and October saw the release of two rough demos "No Hope" and "Life...", Once again keeping to the slow depressive music he set out to create.
Also during 2011 Ayperos was working with a musician who went under the name of Tirithios. Both musicians were working together to record / release a spilt CD with Tirithios' solo project "Fear of Sanity", but after lack of motivation on Tirithios' side the spilt was left in the dust to rot. Ayperos has stated that in the future he would like to finish the songs from his half of the spilt and release them in the near by future.
As 2012 came rushing by Ayperos has planned to release a few new items, but due to an injury he suffered near the start of the year he was unable to record any new songs.
Luckily during mid 2012 Naxotas offered to help and has now joined Days of Our Lives as a studio session guitarist and the new recordings went underway.
Sadly Naxotas' recording sessions were not used much and he recorded only one song for 2012's only release All Alone (re-issued Single)
During late 2012 Ayperos recovered from his injuries and started recording tracks for two new demos and an EP which had a planned release for 2013. At the time Ayperos has searched out for bands to do a number of splits with and also started searching for a full live line up.
The line up was completed near November as a four piece but because of some unforeseen circumstantial events a live member had to pull and Ayperos decided to keep Days of Our Lives as a three piece fro the time being.
