Worlds colliding, rush into the void

All motion is relative it's stagnant
Destroying that which had been saved what could he do
Starting over from nothingness what does it mean
Will our worlds be reborn only to be destroyed again

Revising man's importance a vision of horror
A god the red of the sun before us
Awaits our arrival, to complete the cycle

Within the realm of a dying sun
Exploding into a universe as we fuse into one
Inactive, immobile, caught in time's hold
Why are we unable to solve the evolvement of Stars

Rituals, ceremony of motion
Stand time still, let the earth topple
Over its' axis, plunge toward the Sun

Man's life function becomes nonessential guided by fate
Functional slaves of motion we all become
Two years, ten years elapse as passengers intact
We watch cathedrals crumble and civilizations decay

Lying on the edge of the arboretum
Endless in depth in space
No one can infiltrate the Sepulcher
Discarded by an ancient race

Secrets unknown to man

Protects his terrestrial remains

Mystic sea engender of life
Surrounding mortality within

Towers of a wretched city, spire over a misted sea
The Charon is waiting to escort you
Where demons forever cease to sleep

Temples glow red with the fire
A moat surrounds these walls of iron
Boatmaster reaches the gate of dis
Entrance to the subsurface flames

A Thousand fallen angels hover over the gates and cry
Who without decimation wish to enter the kingdom of the dead

City of eternal flames, house heretics in shame
City of eternal fire, no escape from blackened mire

Fear not for no one can take you from your passage
Upon turbin winds of forceful sound over the Styx the intercessor arrives
The thousand ruined spirits flee from the ancient one
Bow down to the messenger who opens the gates with ease

Fortress encloses on either side
A spacious plain of sorrows, evil, torment and infliction
Sepulchres glowing hot scatter flames amongst the tombs
Moans of grievous saddened souls
Disseminate from the dark

Here lies the arch-heretic with followers from every sect
Their tombs are sealed 'til times end
Without the bodies which they have left above

The men are armed and thirst for battle
Swords are sharpened, shields are sparkling
Tension builds and anger strengthens every soldier

As the enemy awaits approach of Roman soldiers
Charging into battle for the conquest of the land

Swords are clashing, spears are rendered useless
Blood is flowing, men are dying in the fields

So mysteriously glowing from the
Bloodshed of the Greeks

Greek warriors cry out in pain
As Roman swords thrust through their veins
While men retreat towards the land of Thebes

In a time long ago ancient battles were fought
And now there's only one who prevails

Untold images alter our perception
Of a universe we know nothing about
Dimension of mystery obscure and undefined
Obstructing our movement through space and time

Unseen enclosure holding me in space
Forbidding my departure from this time and place

Disembodied spirit freed from our chains
Show me what lies beyond in your realm of dreams
I perceive your world as mere fantasy
But is it my own mind creativity

Incarceration of our minds
Isolation of our kind
Manipulation of our anima
Concentration of our entities

The vital principle preceeds our essence
Producing the illusion known as the senses
No one will know why we all exist
The simple solution no one can resist

Questions with no conceivable answers
Infinite as the duration of humanity

Unseen author of nature
Originator of life
Bring me the knowledge of ages old
To lift me from this strife

Our plight the same our struggle never ending
To acquire knowledge and secrets of all worlds
Mortality so feeble can immortality be more
What possible existence lies beyond the hidden door
