After the 2010 edition of this precious little festival has concentrated a bit too much on death metal for its own good, variety has returned to Eisenwahn in 2011! Thrash by Sepultura and Tankard, death/thrash by Legion Of The Damned and The Crown, traditional death metal by Benediction and Debauchery, brutal death by Hour Of Penance and Amagortis and even some black metal and hard rock by Negator and the AC/DC worshippers Big Ball respectively will keep every aficionado of extreme metal headbanging throughout the weekend!

But it's not only the bands that draw the regular festival visitors to the village of Obersinn year after year. Located in Central Germany, 80 km east of Frankfurt, it is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Spessart mountain range. The festival area itself is located on a slightly sloped hill above the village, with the stage at the bottom of said hill, so no matter where you're standing (or lying), you'll always have perfect sight.

The Spessart area is surrounded by a triangle of Autobahns between Frankfurt, Würzburg and Fulda, so it is relatively easy to get there by car. Exact directions can be found via Google Maps.
You can also get there quite easily by train. Check out the page of the Deutsche Bahn and enter Obersinn as destination to find a schedule that suits you best.
If you arrive from further away you might want to consider to fly. The nearest airports are Frankfurt Airport and Nuremberg Airport. Check the Wikipedia links to find out whether an airport in your area flies to either of these two airports. If you happen to arrive at Frankfurt airport, get in touch with your trusted Metal Storm staff member (Promonex), he might be able to pick you up.

Tickets for this event are obtainable at the festival's online shop and cost 34 euros for two days incl. camping.
