	The Bodom mystery 5. june 1960 Erkki Johansson decided to have a swim in the Lake Bodom located nearby his home. After the bathe he climed up the strand to witness a shocking view; four badly bruised youngsters laying down on a torn apart tent. Soon the horrible news were everywhere, incident resembling to Tulilahti murders had taken place in Espoo, Finland. The camping crew was formed by two 15-year-old girls and two 18-year-old boys. Three of them met their destiny that night: Maila Irmeli Björklund, Anja Tuulikki Mäki and Seppo Antero Boisman. Nils Wilhelm Gustafsson survived with severe injuries. Someone armed with a knife had attacked them straight through the tent canvas. Many people were questioned by the police and investigations took place but the police didn't manage to catch the killer in the 1960's. Years passed by and the case became forgotten. In the year 2003 a new investigator was nominated to the case Bodom. His name was Markku Tuominen. He investigated a possibility that Nils Gustafsson was the murderer. Markku found evidence against Nils. At April 4th Nils was arrested and he was prosecuted for triple homicide. Nils was released from pretrial detention in June 2004. Preliminary investigation was ready in March 2005. After this the case went to prosecutor. Prosecutor decided to proceed against Nils Gustafsson for triple homicide. Trial started in September 2005 and it lasted two weeks. Gustafsson was found not guilty of Bodom Lake triple murder.

Well, I guess that Lake Bodom is the inspiration for the band name and important to the band. Whereas Alexi's house isn't anything special and has nothing to do with Children Of Bodom other than the fact that a member of theirs happens to live there.
