Torche are excited to share a new music video for "Admission", the title track of their forthcoming album, due out July 12th through Relapse Records. The clip was shot, directed, and edited by the band's drummer Rick Smith and Jonathan Nuñez. Additionally, Torche confirmed a string of US live dates, concentrating mainly on the western part of the country.

As you probably know, Torche are about to release a new album, Restarter, and they have found an original way to promote the record. Torche band members have joined Mario, Gordon Freeman and Zelda, as the quartet become video game characters in Torche vs. Robots: Annihilation Affair. The desktop based, single-player, side-scrolling game allows players to pick their favorite band member on a quest to save Miami from becoming a post-apocalyptic wasteland. You can have a bit of fun with it here.

After signing a deal with Relapse Records, Torche have been working hard on the follow-up to the delicious 2012 album Harmonicraft. However, you won't have to wait much more to hear the new material because they have completed and recorded their new record, which should see an early 2015 release. The record was mixed by Converge's Kurt Ballou. Torche will also be hitting the road in the US this fall ahead of their headlining Australia run.

Torche, the Florida-meets-Georgia quartet whose last album was Harmonicraft (2012), has now signed with Relapse Records. The band is currently recording at Pinecrust Studio in Miami with Nunez serving as producer and Converge's Kurt Ballou mixing the album. The as-of-yet untitled album is expected to come out this summer.
