Entitled The Ghost Of A Future Dead, it comes out on the 24th of April 2026 via Century Media Records. The first single, "The Fever Mask", is available for streaming together with an official music video.

Tomas Lindberg, the iconic frontman of Swedish metal band At The Gates, has died at the age of 52 after a battle with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare form of cancer affecting the mouth and palate. The news of Lindberg’s passing was shared by longtime friend and fellow musician David Isberg (known for his work as vocalist with Bloodofjupiter, and formerly with Opeth).

After unexpectedly cancelling all their scheduled shows in early 2024, At The Gates have finally broken their silence with an encouraging update. Vocalist and co-founder Tomas Lindberg was diagnosed with cancer in December 2023, but has since undergone major surgery and completed radiation treatment. At The Gates have shared a statement via his Facebook page that they have parted ways with their lead guitarist Jonas Stålhammar. Jonas joined the band in September 2017 as the replacement for co-founding guitarist Anders Björler, who had left the band in March of that year. The Swedes are working to find a replacement for the upcoming shows.
