After releasing one of the best debut albums in 2016, Unortheta, the Icelandic band Zhrine is about to embark on a few European headline shows. The quarted announced a string of festival and headline performances which includes soon coming shows at the highly prestigious Inferno Metal Festival in Norway and Roadburn Festival (The Netherlands) festivals in April. On this leg, they will be joined by countrymen and label mates Auðn and in Norway also by Kontinuum. If you want to catch them live, see the dates.

Iceland's death metal purveyors Zhrine have shared another song from their debut album, Unortheta. "Utopian Warfare" is the name of the track you can listen to below before their album is released via Season of Mist on April 8th. Gone Postal changed their name to Shrine in 2014 but have now settled on Zhrine for this release. Guitarist/vocalist Nökkvi is also in Svartidauði.

Here is your death metal fix! In 2007, a new Iceland band was born, Gone Postal. In 2014, they changed their name to Shrine. One year later, there was another band name change, and this time they came back under the Zhrine moniker and signed with Season Of Mist. Their debut album will drop on April 8th entitled Unortheta. You can hear the new song ''Spewing Gloom'' right here and see if you like the gloom.
