Dear MetalDays Community, it is with a mix of emotions that we share this news: MetalDays will not be held in 2024. Unfortunately, due to the challenges we've encountered, we've had to make the tough decision not to proceed with the festival this year. After extensive discussions, we have made the difficult decision to postpone MetalDays 2024 and instead shift our focus to MetalDays 2025, scheduled to take place from July 27th to August 2nd, 2025. While this decision was not made lightly, we believe it is the most reasonable and in the best interest of everyone involved.

In 2023, the Slovenian biggest music festival Metaldays will be held at a brand new location - Lake Velenje (city Velenje). In all history of this festival (ex-Metalcamp also), this is the first time that Metaldays will not occupy the grounds of Tolmin and move to a new location. Lots of bands have already been confirmed for 2023 edition, which will take place from the 30th July to August of 5th. To name a few: Helloween, Kreator, Anthrax, In Flames, Abbath, At The Gates, Heilung, Heaven Shall Burn, Paradise Lost, Kataklysm, Napalm Death, etc. All (so far) confirmed bands are listed via flyer below.

Just few days after the conclusion of Metaldays 2016 festival, first bands for the 2017' edition have been already confirmed. Opeth, Bloodbath, Xandria, Doro, Visions Of Atlantis, Hell, Batushka and Katana are first eight names on the line-up list for the Metaldays 2017. The festival will happen between 23.7. and 29.7.2017 (24. - 28.7. are music days).

In the official site of the band was announced that they will count with a second guitarist from now on, italian guitar heron Francesco Fareri, who joined the band, counts with 2 solo albums and had collaborated with Vitalij Kuprij in the past. In other hand the keyboard player Alex Valdambrini decided to leave the band due to personal reassons.
