Sadistik Forest - Unveil Cover Art & Title Of The Oncoming EP

Finnish death metal band Sadistik Forest present first details regarding the new upcoming EP effort. It's titled Obscure Old Remains and features cover artwork by Raúl Fuentes, which can be seen down under. The song "Mandagore", which will be featured in the EP, was already revealed earlier this year as part of Transcending Obscurity's label sampler. More details coming soon.

Sadistik Forest - Finish Recording New Material, Guitarist Returns

Sadistik Forest from Finland just informed their fans that the recording sessions for a new Transcending Obscurity Records release have finished and that producer Andreas "Jonsson" Westholm is now in Stockholm for the mixing process. Furthermore, the band's original guitarist Jarkko Lahtinen has returned as a permanent member to replace Matti Salo who has decided to leave in an amicable way.

Sadistik Forest - New Track Streaming

Finnish death metallers Sadistik Forest are set to release their new album, Morbid Majesties, on May 25th via Transcending Obscurity Records. It was mixed by Samu Männikkö and mastered by Mikko Saastamoinen / Transistor Media (Hooded Menace, Solothus, etc) and the artwork was created by Raúl Fuentes. The brutal tune, "Decades Of Torment Then Death", is available below.

Nunslaughter - Drummer Jim Sadist Dies

American musician Jim Konya, who was also known as Jim Sadist, Malcolm Judas Anthony and other nick names, has sadly recently passed away. He had suffered a stroke recently. He was surrounded by his loved ones and lost a prolonged fight that began following a debilitating stroke that felled him last month. Jim's ordeal reached its apex on September 27th, when he suffered another, more severe stroke while recovering from the first. His condition continued to worsen. The decision was made to take him off life support on October 7th. He was 44. R.I.P.

"Broken And Reborn", the new video from Italian metallers Sadist, can be viewed at this location. The clip was shot on June 5, 2010 at the Alcatraz club in Milan, Italy when the band was the support act for Megadeth.

"Broken And Reborn" comes off the band's latest album, Season In Silence, which was released on April 2010 via Liveglobal/Self.

Sadist - New Album Details, Teaser Online

Italian metallers Sadist will release their new album, Season In Silence, on March 19 via Liveglobal/Self.

The album was produced, engineered and mixed by Tommy Talamanca for Nadir Music. According to a press release, the new CD promises to be the band's "most technical and extreme" effort to date.
