Tool - Frontman Wins Golden Drover Award For Best Feature Documentary

Blood into Wine, the documentary that follows Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan and his work towards creating a credible winemaking region in Northern Arizona, has won the Golden Drover Award for "Best Feature Documentary" at the 2011 Trail Dance Film Festival.

Said co-directors Christopher Pomerenke and Ryan Page: "Our entire team is absolutely thrilled about winning the Trail Dance Film Festival documentary award. We made the film with great care and it's been a wonderful honor to see it recognized by such a prestigious festival."

Blood into Wine, which was released in 2009 and was independently distributed to over 125 theaters in the United States, was made available on DVD/Blu-ray and Netflix in September of 2009.

If anyone hasn't seen it I'd definitely recommend it, whether you like wine or not. Really interesting seeing a musician so honest and down to earth. Most of the time it seemed like he didn't even wanna be on camera.
