Yup it does.

First of all, her solo albums have always been boring and self-imposed mediocre songwriting that exported back to back boring albums from her camp.

So, the only thing left was to check her out, which now i think i can't even put my eyes on her.

Massive weight issue out here.

Although her albums are boring and lack creativity I feel she has potential.

I agree, her music is boring, she really needs a good songwriter like Tuomas. But I have a feeling metal is not really her world, she would prefer to make pop/classical albums. I remember during the first years of Nightwish she didn't even like metal, although she is used to it by now
And because of her past people expect her to make metal-based songs, so this leads to the uninspired music she is producing now. Sucks her voice is wasted on this.

I don't think he's saying she's fat. I think he's pointing out the extreme opposite. She is unhealthy skinny in Act 1, and she was pregnant at the time.
Talking about the album, i'm looking foward to it, just for a few songs only. I find her solo albums a bit boring, but with a couple of songs that stand out.

Really? I didn't know it, I saw some pictures where she looked a bit chubby, that's why I thought he was referring to that. I don't know how she looked like in Act 1.
But anyway, my point is that she shouldn't be judged by her appearance, but her music.
I'm looking forward to the album too, hopefully it will be better than the others.

Well, you won't see any forum/thread/topic about any woman( especially female lead singer) have a "comment" about her appearance. it's ought to be accepted to get a such reactions like this, because, they are considered to be physically beautiful.

Whether or not, you can'tr avoid that and won't be. There got to be some guy who will make a shot on her appearance(immaterial of she's hot or looks awful).

By whom? Half of the population, men (I'm talking about straight people). Strangely. the other half of the population almost never comments on a guy's appearance here. And I'm sure there are guys in metal who are considered hot or really ugly, but the female metalstormers just don't comment on that when they react to the news.


I know that there will be always someone, especially because there are far more guys here than girls. But yes, it's not OK, that women and men are still treated differently. That's what I'm saying, and sorry for turning this thread into offtopic, but it just needed to be said.

I seriosely agree with you ,and you said all I wanted to say in the best way, I again say she's not ugly,why am I insisting on this ? because as you said women and men are not being treated the same, there are very average looking guys in metal and they have never been mentioned as being ugly but seems that women look should be in the very certain ways that media advertise on it or they should got the same feminine stereotypes to be considered pretty and such,this pressure that is put on shoulders of females for their look will continue apparently

And hopefully it will improve if there will be more women in metal bands, not just as singers but guitarists, drummers, etc.
