Metallica - 'Through The Never' Film Coming On DVD
If you didn't get a chance to get to the theater to see Metallica's 3D movie Through The Never, soon you will be able to watch it in the comfort of your own home. The home version of the film will be released on DVD, Blu-Ray, 3D Blu-Ray, digitally and V.O.D. (Video On Demand) on January 28th, 2014 through the band's very own label, Blackened Recordings.
The DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray will include extensive behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the film including an 80+ minute "Making of Metallica Through the Never" documentary put together by Adam Dubin (A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica) and including two never before seen chapters. A special limited-edition package will be available with extra goodies for the die-hard fans and the Met Club family can also expect to get a first crack at grabbing a limited-edition set including a piece of an actual stage prop used in the film as well as a lithograph print autographed by the band. The digital format will include the feature film as well as the Making of Metallica Through The Never documentary.

Did anyone even watch this movie? I didn't really bother with it. Why don't they do something useful with that Blackened Recordings label of theirs and sign up some good modern metal bands instead of putting out this trash?

Finding our voice to the masses with thrash,death,black etc etc.. It is now obvious that everybody got duped by Llica thinking they were genuine. James saying to the crowds we love you all!!!?? Is that not a slap in the face to anybody else? Last thing I wanna hear is that dribbling at a supposed thrash show.

Didn't go anywhere and came to a very abrupt end with no closure what so ever. I'm also very disappointed that it wasn't Lars on that stretcher... Concert parts were very awesome though. Brought back a lot of good memories from seeing them in London back in 2009. To bad about the shitty film part and its overall length.
