Japanese veteran thrashers Fastkill sadly announced that their original bassist and a member of the band since 1996, Suguru Ando, has passed away suddenly. The band's upcoming shows have been cancelled.

Fastkill issued the following statement: "We're terribly sorry to announce but Suguru, who is original member of Fastkill since 1996 and has been playing bass with us, passed away on January 8. This is totally all of a sudden and difficult to accept reality for the rest of members. Due to this, we have to cancel all the shows that is currently fixed in future. We appreciate for you guys great support to the band and Suguru for a long time."
